Acuitas Caribbean is pleased to announce our new strategic-alliance partnership with Facility Engineering Associates (FEA) in the field of Facilities Management. FEA, headquartered in Washington, has an impressive track record in the industry. Our new partnering marks our transition towards a phase of sustainable growth as we develop a twin project management portfolio – facilities maintenance and construction consultancy.
Notably, the Facilities Management and Maintenance Conference which was hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce was a significant milestone in our new expansion of services. It was held on the 17th and 18th of June 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad. We teamed up with FEA at this first-ever locally-held event, jointly manning a corporate booth. The booth was beautifully set-up and featured informative display boards, corporate slideshows and interactive carbon-print testing. Meaningful memorabilia were also distributed to visitors – eco bags and information-enriched thumb drives, to name a few.
The conference featured a first-class range of guest speakers, among whom were our very own FEA team of Chris Hodges and Teena Shouse, representing IFMA (International Facilities Management Association). They got the ball rolling on the first day of the conference with an interactive seminar which was not only refreshingly engaging but also highly enlightening. Notably, Acuitas is now poised to enter the Trinidad and Tobago chapter of the IFMA, highlighting our commitment to pursuing the highest industry standards.
In the end, our combination of impressive team speakers, friendly booth attendants, engaging displays, and thoughtful tokens, generated a high degree of interest in our partnership, presence and services. Together with our new strategic-alliance partner, we look forward to broadened opportunities to apply our industry expertise, and to satisfy the needs and expectations of our present and future clients.
